Privacy Policy
Bellis is an AI receptionist for local businesses, operated by HOLOGROW INC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect when businesses use Bellis and when people call or text those businesses, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: internal@hologrow.ai.
What we collect
- Business accounts. The business’s name, address or service area, services, hours and settings, and the owner’s name and mobile number.
- Information callers and customers give a business. When someone calls or texts a business that uses Bellis, or opens a link it sends them, we collect what they share to get help: their name, phone number, address, what they need, preferred times and any photos they upload. We handle this on behalf of that business.
- Calls. Call audio is processed in real time so the receptionist can answer. Calls are not recorded and no transcripts are kept. For each call we keep a record of when it happened, how long it lasted, what the receptionist did (for example a request or booking it created) and what it cost.
- Text messages sent and received through Bellis, with their delivery status, and each person’s opt-in and opt-out choices.
- Technical information needed to run and secure the service, such as server logs.
How we use it
To provide Bellis: answering calls, creating requests and quotes, scheduling appointments, sending the texts people have agreed to receive, showing the business its calls, customers and map rankings, giving support, and keeping the service secure and reliable. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
SMS and mobile information
We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP; see our SMS Terms.
Service providers
We share information with providers only as needed to run Bellis, and they may use it only to provide their services to us:
- OpenAI, for the voice conversation and language processing during calls and texts.
- Telnyx and Twilio, for phone calls and text messages.
- Google, for hosting (Google Cloud) and, if a business connects it, Google Calendar.
- DataForSEO, for map rankings (the business’s name, location and search terms only).
- OpenStreetMap, for maps and for locating the business’s address or service area.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users, the public or Bellis.
All of the above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent: this information will not be shared with any third parties.
How long we keep it
Requests are deleted a year after they are finished, with their texts and photos, and texts that never became part of a request are deleted after a year. When a business is deleted, everything kept for it is deleted, and it leaves our daily backups within 7 days. Call records are kept while the business’s account exists.
Security
Connections to Bellis are encrypted (HTTPS), the owner’s console requires a login, calendar access tokens are stored encrypted, and access to systems is limited to the people who run the service.
Cookies
This website uses no cookies and no analytics. The owner’s console uses one short-lived cookie only while connecting Google Calendar.
Your choices
- Business owners can view, change and delete their business information, customers and requests in the console, or delete the business entirely.
- Anyone can ask us to access or delete information about them by emailing internal@hologrow.ai. If you are a customer of a business that uses Bellis, we may also refer your request to that business.
- Reply STOP to any text from Bellis to stop receiving them.
Children
Bellis is a service for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with its effective date.
